Day 1 – Arrival in Catania
Welcome to Catania, the second-largest city in Sicily and a vibrant destination shaped by centuries of history. The city has survived earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, creating a unique blend of architectural styles and cultural influences.
Spend your day exploring the stunning Palazzo Biscari, one of the finest examples of Sicilian Baroque, and visit the historic Monastery of San Benedetto, a true hidden gem.

Day 2 – Cycling from Catania to Caltagirone
Distance: 80 km | Elevation gain: +1000 m
After receiving your bike, roadbook, and route briefing, your cycling adventure begins. Today you ride inland toward Caltagirone, a charming hilltop town famous worldwide for its artistic ceramics.
Don’t miss the iconic Scalinata di Santa Maria del Monte, decorated with colorful tiles, and discover the town’s UNESCO-listed Baroque heritage.

Day 3 – From Caltagirone to Modica via Ragusa
Distance: 80 km | Elevation gain: +1365 m
Leaving Caltagirone behind, you’ll cycle through the scenic landscapes of the Monti Iblei, a region of stone walls, deep ravines, and breathtaking countryside.
Your first highlight is Ragusa, one of Sicily’s most picturesque towns, with panoramic views over Ragusa Ibla.
The day ends in Modica, a historic city built along a rocky ridge, famous for its Baroque beauty and traditional chocolate.

Day 4 – Modica to Ispica through Scicli
Distance: 45 km | Elevation gain: +470 m
Today’s ride is shorter but full of charm. You will first reach Scicli, a lesser-known jewel of southeastern Sicily, rich in architecture and authentic atmosphere.
Continue on to Ispica, where you can visit the beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Mother Church of Saint Bartholomew.
Overnight stay in Ispica.
Day 5 – Cycling to Syracuse via Noto
Distance: 72 km | Elevation gain: +620 m
Your journey continues toward the famous Baroque town of Noto, set on a plateau above the Asinaro Valley and surrounded by citrus groves and olive trees.
Often called the “Stone Garden”, Noto enchants visitors with elegant palaces, ornate churches, and balconies decorated with cherubs and wrought iron.
In the afternoon, cycle toward your final destination: Syracuse, one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the Mediterranean. Explore Ortigia Island and enjoy the city’s UNESCO World Heritage atmosphere.

Day 6 – Tour Ends
After breakfast, your unforgettable cycling holiday in Sicily comes to an end.

For this tour, each bicycle comes equipped with one waterproof pannier bag (10–20 L) to carry your personal belongings. We recommend packing your items in a soft travel bag for easy fitting in the saddlebags.
