Welcome to Marina di Ragusa, one of the most charming seaside resorts in south-eastern Sicily. Once a small fishing village, today it is a lively coastal town famous for its golden beaches, crystal-clear sea, and relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.
Overnight stay in Marina di Ragusa.

Day 2 – Marina di Ragusa to Ispica (49 km | +550 m)

Your cycling adventure begins heading east along the stunning Sicilian coastline. For the first 25 km, you ride through picturesque seaside villages such as Donnalucata, Cava d’Aliga, Sampieri, and Marina di Modica.
Leaving the sea behind, the route continues inland through peaceful countryside filled with olive groves and carob trees until you reach Ispica.

Day 3 – Ispica to Marzamemi (52 km | +270 m)

From Ispica, you cycle back towards the coast, passing the long sandy beaches of Santa Maria del Focallo. The route crosses the wetlands of Pantano Longarini and Pantano Baronello, perfect spots for birdwatching and observing migratory species.
After riding near Capo Passero, you arrive in Marzamemi, a charming historic fishing village known for its atmosphere and waterfront restaurants.
Overnight stay in Marzamemi.

Day 4 – Marzamemi to Noto (50 km | +350 m)

Today’s highlight is the beautiful Vendicari Nature Reserve, famous for its unspoiled beaches, lagoons, and the ancient tuna fishery (“tonnara”).

Day 5 – Noto to Syracuse (38 km | +250 m)

The final cycling stage brings you from Noto to the elegant city of Syracuse (Siracusa), one of the most fascinating cultural destinations in the Mediterranean.
