Day 1 – Arrival in Monopoli
Welcome to Monopoli, one of the most charming coastal towns in southern Italy. Enjoy a stroll through its historic centre, with narrow whitewashed streets, a lively harbour, excellent seafood restaurants, and a beautiful Romanesque cathedral.
Overnight stay in Monopoli.
Day 2 – Monopoli to Conversano (40 km | +535 m)
After bike delivery and route briefing, your cycling holiday in Puglia begins along the spectacular Adriatic coastline. Stop in the famous seaside village of Polignano a Mare, dramatically set on limestone cliffs above turquoise waters. Continue past the picturesque fishing hamlet of San Vito, with its colourful boats and small port.
Arrive in the elegant hill town of Conversano, known for its medieval charm.

Day 3 – Conversano to Alberobello (40 km | +570 m)
Cycle through the peaceful Apulian countryside towards Castellana Grotte, home to one of Italy’s most impressive cave systems. Explore the magical underground world of stalactites and stalagmites before continuing through Putignano and Noci.
Your day ends in Alberobello, the iconic town of the Trulli.

Day 4 – Extra Day in Alberobello
Today is yours to enjoy Alberobello at a relaxed pace. Discover the UNESCO-listed Trulli houses, browse artisan shops, and taste traditional Apulian specialties. Visit the Museo del Territorio for insight into the region’s history.
Optional Bike Loop: Alberobello – Locorotondo – Martina Franca

Ride through the heart of the Itria Valley to Locorotondo, famous for panoramic views and whitewashed lanes, then continue to Martina Franca, renowned for Baroque palaces and a beautifully preserved historic centre.
Day 5 – Alberobello to Pezze di Greco (50 km | +300 m)
Today’s route follows quiet country roads lined with dry-stone walls and olive groves. Enjoy gentle hills before a long downhill ride with stunning views of the Adriatic coast. Pass through Capitolo and arrive in Pezze di Greco, surrounded by colourful agricultural fields.

Day 6 – Extra Day in Pezze di Greco
Spend a relaxing day at your Masseria, enjoying the pool or a nearby beach.
Optional Bike Loop to Ostuni:
Pezze di Greco – Ostuni – Pezze di Greco

For active travellers, cycle to Ostuni, the famous “White City,” with dazzling white houses, arches, and a stunning hilltop cathedral.

Day 7 – Pezze di Greco to Monopoli (32 km | +150 m)
Your final ride brings you back to the Adriatic coast on a gentle, mostly flat route. Stop in Savelletri, a colourful fishing village perfect for an espresso or seafood lunch. Continue to the archaeological site of Egnazia, once a Greco-Roman settlement dating back to the 4th century BC.
Return to the beautiful seaside town of Monopoli.

Day 8 – Departure Day
After breakfast, your unforgettable Apulia cycling tour comes to an end.
