From Verona to Venice by Bike

Day 1 – Arrival in Verona

Individual arrival in Verona, one of Italy’s most romantic and historic cities.
Meet & greet with our staff and bike fitting at our local bike shop (if rental is included).
Enjoy your first evening strolling through the charming old town.
Overnight stay in Verona.

Day 2 – Cycling from Verona to Lonigo

Distance: 56 km – Flat stage

Your bike tour from Verona to Venice begins with a ride through Verona’s historic center before quickly reaching the peaceful countryside.

Cycle along the Adige River on a quiet bike path, surrounded by the wide fields of the Venetian plain. Pass through the village of Zevio and continue on scenic country roads toward the Berici Hills.

Arrive in Lonigo, a refined and tranquil town.
Overnight in Lonigo.

Optional Food & Wine Experience: stop at a local winery for a tasting of regional wines.

Day 3 – Lonigo to Vicenza Bike Stage

Distance: 51 km – Rolling terrain

Today’s route follows the green foothills of the Berici Hills, along low-traffic country lanes.

Pedal past elegant Venetian Villas, charming rural villages, vineyards, and cultivated landscapes. A couple of gentle climbs reward you with beautiful panoramic views.

Before entering Vicenza, admire the iconic Villa La Rotonda, then reach the stunning city of Vicenza, famous for the masterpieces of architect Andrea Palladio.

Day 4 – Vicenza to Padua Cycling Route

Distance: 44 km – Flat stage

Leave Vicenza following part of the Berici Cycle Route, then ride along the peaceful Bacchiglione River bike path.

Cross picturesque villages such as Montegalda, and enjoy an interesting natural area along the way. Pass near the Castle of San Martino before arriving in the lively historic center of Padua.

Overnight in Padua.

Optional Food & Wine Experience: tasting of local products at an organic farm.

Day 5 – Padua to Venice Lagoon (Mestre)

Distance: 42 km – Flat stage

The final cycling stage brings you closer to magical Venice.

Depart Padua riding along the Brenta River, through peaceful countryside dotted with splendid Venetian villas. These noble residences are true time capsules of the 16th century.

Continue eastward toward Mestre, located on the edge of the Venice Lagoon. Venice itself is just 10 minutes away by train or tram.

Overnight stay in Mestre.

Optional Food & Wine Experience: enjoy a stop at a small café for local wine and traditional tapas-style snacks.

Day 6 – Departure from Mestre

After breakfast, check out and end of services.
