Day 1 – Arrival in San Vito dei Normanni

Welcome to San Vito dei Normanni, a charming town in northern Salento, just 30 minutes from Brindisi. Surrounded by ancient olive groves and vineyards, this picturesque destination is close to the stunning Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve and the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Day 2 – San Vito dei Normanni to Ostuni

After receiving your bike, road book, and route details, you begin your cycling adventure through the heart of San Vito dei Normanni. The ride continues towards the protected landscapes of Torre Guaceto, home to sandy dunes, wetlands, and rich wildlife, including turtles and many bird species.
Passing through the lovely town of Carovigno, you arrive in Ostuni, famously known as The White City.

Day 3 – Ostuni to Alberobello

38 km | Elevation gain: +615 m

Today’s route takes you through the rolling hills of the Itria Valley, with breathtaking views of vineyards, forests, and endless olive groves dotted with iconic trulli rooftops.
You will cycle through the beautiful white villages of Cisternino and Locorotondo before reaching Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world-famous capital of the trulli.

Day 4 – Alberobello to San Vito dei Normanni

58 km | Elevation gain: +420 m

This morning you ride towards Martina Franca, known for its elegant architecture, and then continue to Ceglie Messapica, considered the gastronomic heart of Puglia.
Enjoy a relaxing ride through the countryside before returning to San Vito dei Normanni.

Day 5 – San Vito dei Normanni to Mesagne and Oria

72 km | Elevation gain: +215 m

Today’s cycling stage explores the historic towns of Mesagne and Oria, both dominated by impressive castles built during the time of Frederick II.
On the return journey, you stop in Francavilla Fontana, another authentic Apulian gem.
Back in San Vito dei Normanni for your final evening.
