Day 1 – Arrival in Trani (Adriatic Coast, Puglia)

Arrive independently in Trani, one of the most charming seaside towns in Northern Puglia, located on the beautiful Adriatic coast. Take time to explore the historic centre, a fascinating medieval maze of narrow streets surrounding the picturesque fishing harbour, filled with cafés, bars and seafood restaurants. Don’t miss the stunning Trani Cathedral, one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Puglia.

Day 2 – Cycling from Trani to Ruvo di Puglia (50 km / +450 m)

After bike delivery and a short briefing, your cycling adventure begins. Leaving the sea behind, ride inland through landscapes of vineyards and centuries-old olive groves. Along the way, pass through the medieval towns of Andria and Corato, rich in local culture and history. Your destination is Ruvo di Puglia, famous for its Romanesque cathedral and traditional ceramic craftsmanship.

Day 3 – Bike Ride to Bari, the Capital of Puglia (47 km / +150 m)

Today’s easy stage takes you back towards the Adriatic shoreline and into Bari, the vibrant regional capital of Puglia. Discover the city’s unique contrast between the elegant Murat district and the lively atmosphere of Bari Vecchia, the old town full of authentic flavours and traditions. En route, stop in the charming historic centres of Terlizzi and Giovinazzo.

Day 4 – Coastal Cycling to Polignano a Mare (45 km / +200 m)

Enjoy a scenic coastal ride south to Mola di Bari and onward to the spectacular cliffside town of Polignano a Mare, often called the “Pearl of the Adriatic”. Wander through whitewashed alleys and panoramic terraces overlooking crystal-clear waters. A true highlight of any cycling holiday in Puglia.

Day 5 – From Polignano a Mare to Ostuni, the White City (55 km / +400 m)

Continue cycling along the coast to Monopoli, known for its charming old port and historic centre. Ride past the fascinating Archaeological Park of Egnazia, an important Roman settlement located along the ancient Trajan Way. After Savelletri, head inland through endless olive trees until you reach Ostuni, the iconic “White Town” perched on a hilltop.

Day 6 – Ostuni to Brindisi via Torre Guaceto Reserve (50 km / +180 m)

After a visit to the medieval village of Carovigno, cycle through peaceful olive groves towards the sea. Stop at the protected Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve, one of the most beautiful coastal areas in southern Italy. Follow the shoreline to Brindisi, a historic port city shaped by centuries of Mediterranean trade and cultural exchange.
