Day 1 – Arrival in Fasano
Welcome to Fasano, a charming town located between Salento and the Bari countryside. Surrounded by centuries-old olive groves, vineyards, orchards, and traditional farms, Fasano offers a peaceful start to your journey.
Stroll through its historic center, famous for its whitewashed houses and narrow winding streets.

Day 2 – Fasano to Savelletri and Monopoli

After a short briefing, our staff will accompany you from Fasano to Savelletri, where your walk begins along one of Europe’s oldest pilgrimage routes: the Via Francigena.
Along the way, you can visit the impressive Egnazia Archaeological Park, one of the most important Roman sites in Puglia and a former commercial hub of the ancient Mediterranean world.
Your day ends in the stunning seaside town of Monopoli, known for its picturesque harbor and 16th-century castle overlooking the Adriatic Sea.

Day 3 – Monopoli to Polignano a Mare

Today’s route continues along the coastal stretch of the Via Francigena, offering spectacular sea views.
You will pass golden sandy coves and cross the famous Sella Natural Bridge, suspended above the crystal-clear Adriatic waters.
Arrive in Polignano a Mare, one of the most iconic towns in southern Italy. Don’t miss the panoramic terraces and a photo with the statue of Domenico Modugno, the singer of “Volare.”

Day 4 – Polignano a Mare to Conversano

The walk begins with a visit to the fishing village of San Vito, home to a charming harbor and historic abbey.
Optional: Enjoy an unforgettable boat tour of the sea caves of Polignano, one of the highlights of the Apulian coast.
You will also see Roman road remains, coastal defense towers, and breathtaking landscapes before reaching Conversano, a medieval town rich in art and history.

Day 5 – Conversano to Castellana Grotte

Conversano is famous for its noble heritage and the castle of the Acquaviva d’Aragona family, where masterpieces by painter Paolo Finoglio are displayed.
From the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the trail continues through the lush countryside toward one of Puglia’s natural wonders: Castellana Grotte.
Here you can explore the spectacular Castellana Caves, discovered in 1938 and considered among Italy’s most beautiful underground attractions.

Day 6 – Castellana Grotte to Putignano

In the afternoon, you will arrive in Putignano, famous across Italy for hosting one of the country’s oldest and most celebrated carnivals.

Day 7 – Putignano to Alberobello

Today you enter the magical Valle d’Itria, a landscape dotted with iconic trulli, traditional dry-stone houses unique to Puglia.
Your final destination is Alberobello, the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Site and symbol of Apulian architecture.
Explore its trulli districts and visit the extraordinary Trullo Church of Sant’Antonio da Padova.

Day 8 – Departure Day
